Evaluation and Space Planning

We evaluate your company's needs, anticipate your use of space, and become familiar with your company's image, business methods, and budget. If you are moving, expanding, or renegotiating a lease, we can produce preliminary space plans first, ensuring that you will have adequate space for your needs.

Design Development

In the course of developing your design, we resolve any challenges identified during evaluation and space planning. For example, we may suggest ways to improve efficiency, flexibility, and privacy or include provisions for expansion or upgrades. This is also the time when we develop color schemes and make initial finish selections, consistent with your firm's corporate standards for both public and private office spaces. Our aim is to create an environment that will boost morale, improve productivity, and engage your customers.

Furnishings and Artwork

Callahan Design Group can select, specify and procure all new furnishings for your space. Should you wish to reuse some of your existing furniture, we can evaluate and inventory your furnishings and select items for repair or re-upholstering. We will then select complementary new furniture and artwork, and inspect all orders as they come in.

Construction Documentation and Administration

As CCIDC Certified Interior Designers, we are trained and qualified to draft all plans needed to obtain a building permit. These include as-built floor plans, demolition plans, electrical plans, and elevation and construction details. While your space is under construction, we review samples of finishes and all products for accuracy, visit the job site to ensure that construction agrees with the plans, review all shop drawings of cabinetry and other custom items, and work directly with the contractor to answer any questions.

Move Coordination

Whether your firm is moving to a new location or reorganizing within your existing space, we can coordinate your move so that your company makes the transition quickly and efficiently.
